4 – 20 mA Pressure transducers are loop power devices and are connected between an analog input set to 4-20mA, and a plus 24 volt supply. The power to run the electronics is derived from the voltage across the transducer.
Connecting a pressure transducer to an Emotron FDU VFD
If a pressure transducer is connected to an Emotron FDU or VFX, it will be used in conjunction with the internal PID controller.
The connection will be to the Analog input 2 at terminal 3. Connect the -ve terminal of the pressure transducer to terminal 3 and the +ve terminal at terminal 11. Ensure that switch S2 is set to “I”.
Connecting a pressure transducer to a Danfoss FC202
If a pressure transducer is connected to a Danfoss, it will be used in conjunction with the internal PID controller.
The connection will be to the Analog input 2 at terminal 54. Connect the -ve terminal of the pressure transducer to terminal 54 and the +ve terminal at terminal 12.
